Christmas is often described as a season of joy, togetherness, and giving. But for many families, the holidays can also bring difficult choices as they work to meet everyday needs.

In 2021, Giving Back with Evie brought the spirit of Christmas to the Masaka community in Nasarawa State, Nigeria, through the Community Christmas Cheer Outreach. The outreach provided food items and toiletries to individuals and families, offering practical support during the festive season.

The donation was about more than distributing essential items. It was an opportunity to share kindness, encouragement, and care with community members while reminding them that they were seen, valued, and remembered.

Through the outreach, families received food items to support their household needs, along with toiletries and other personal-care essentials. These contributions reflected the belief that small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference, especially during a season centered on generosity and togetherness.

The Community Christmas Cheer Outreach is part of Giving Back with Evie’s commitment to serving communities and creating opportunities for people to feel supported. Whether through education, seasonal outreach, or other community-focused initiatives, the organization continues to believe in the power of compassion and collective action.

In Masaka, Christmas became more than a celebration. It became a reminder that joy grows when it is shared.

One community. One season of giving. Countless moments of Christmas cheer.
